Position Description

Basic Function:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting dies and fixtures before, during, and after production to ensure top performance and long tool life.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

• 🧩 Build new die components
• 📦 Identify needed parts and coordinate orders
• 🛠️ Maintain and sharpen dies as needed
• 💻 Update tool repair records
• 💡 Recommend improvements to tooling
• 🔍 Troubleshoot tooling issues during production

Requirements:

• 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent
• 🛠️ Completed state-indentured Tool & Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years non-indentured tool & die experience
• Minimum 3 years building, maintaining, and troubleshooting progressive tooling
• 📜 Journeyman Card in Tool & Die
