Position Description

Basic Function:

Responsible for supporting the assigned work area through machine setup, material staging, workflow coordination, operator training, and quality oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

⚙️ Operate machines, perform in-process quality checks, and package components to customer requirements
🔧 Set up and tear down machines
📦 Stage materials, packaging, paperwork, and inspection equipment for upcoming jobs
🚜 Operate a forklift as needed
👨‍🏫 Train operators on processes, safety, and quality requirements
✅ Monitor product quality and address quality issues
🤝 Address personnel issues with the Operations Manager and other leads
🔍 Inspect equipment daily and report equipment issues
💡 Identify and support process improvements

Principle Duties:

⚙️ Support daily production and workflow within the assigned work area
👨‍🏫 Train and support operators
✅ Maintain quality and safety standards
🤝 Provide leadership and supervision when the Operations Manager is absent

Education & Experience:

🧠 Skills: Basic computer and math skills, ability to read and communicate effectively
🎓 Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent
🛠️ Experience: 3 years of manufacturing experience
🔧 Preferred: Machine maintenance & technical experience
